Licensing principles

Useful rights, written for the real room.

Timbience defines commercial use by project rather than relying on vague promises such as copyright-free or risk-free. This page is a working summary, not a substitute for the final license.

Working policy ยท 24 August 2026
01

The agreed use

Within the rights Timbience can grant, each final project document defines the locations, media, period, and commercial uses covered. Timbience does not make an additional royalty claim for use inside that agreed scope.

A single-location package does not automatically cover additional venues, paid advertising, resale, redistribution, or use as a standalone music product.

02

AI-assisted, human-shaped

Timbience may use AI-assisted tools alongside human selection, arrangement, editing, and mastering. The tool or model is not the product promise, and work is not created to imitate a living artist.

Pure AI output may not receive copyright protection in every jurisdiction. Timbience therefore grants a contractual use permission within the rights it controls rather than promising that every output carries fully transferable copyright.

03

Public performance context

The Timbience project license does not automatically replace every statutory, venue, equipment, collecting-society, or public-performance permission that may apply where a customer operates.

Customers remain responsible for evaluating local requirements and any other music combined with Timbience material. The phrase royalty-free is not used as a promise that no other permission can ever be required.

04

Files and redistribution

Final WAV, MP3, loop, sequence, and track-sheet files are delivered for the agreed use. Raw project files, model weights, production prompts, or reusable source assets are not included unless expressly stated.

Final material may not be resold, sublicensed, uploaded to a stock library, used to train another model, or distributed as a standalone release without a separate written agreement.
